A young Indigenous student gives a thumbs up for his Deadly Coders program

BRISCA supporting Deadly Coders

At Deadly Coders, our mission is clear: to inspire and empower Indigenous communities by creating meaningful pathways into STEM careers. Achieving this mission requires focus, resources, and dedicated partnerships. We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with BRISCA Australia, a leading provider of outsourced finance and accounting solutions, whose generous support is helping us to stay laser-focused on what we do best—building opportunities for Indigenous youth.

BRISCA has stepped in to donate bookkeeping and financial reporting services to Deadly Coders. This remarkable gesture is a testament to their commitment to making a difference beyond their business operations.

Sumith Dissanayake, CEO BRISCA

Sumith Dissanayake, CEO of BRISCA, expressed his passion for supporting initiatives that create meaningful impact:

“I’ve always believed in the power of combining innovative technology and dedicated human talent to drive progress. Deadly Coders is doing exactly that by opening doors for Indigenous students to thrive in STEM. It’s an honour to contribute to their journey and support such an impactful cause.”

Managing the financial intricacies of a rapidly growing charity like Deadly Coders can be challenging. BRISCA’s expertise has allowed Deadly Coders to streamline our operations, ensuring our resources are directed toward delivering impactful programs. By taking the burden of financial management off our shoulders, BRISCA enables us to focus fully on our programs, such as coding workshops, online platforms, and pathways into tech careers.

Andrew Brodie, Director of Deadly Coders, shared his gratitude:

“The support from BRISCA and Sumith has been transformative for Deadly Coders. Managing finances for a growing organisation can be overwhelming, but BRISCA has given us the gift of time and focus. Their belief in our mission and generosity is helping us create more opportunities for Indigenous students in technology and STEM.”

This partnership highlights the incredible potential of businesses aligning with community-driven initiatives. BRISCA’s support not only strengthens Deadly Coders’ operations but also exemplifies how private enterprises can drive social change by sharing their resources and expertise.
